Audio Programmer and Composer
I am a longtime instrumentalist and composer for a variety of styles. I play percussion, keyboards, guitar, and bass. I also have a background in synthesizer programming. My writing is heavily inspired by progressive metal and game soundtracks; I also derive influence from jazz, rock, lo-fi, EDM, and more. I am effective at achieving vastly different aural aesthetics without compromising on my personal flair.
Production Process
I prototype songs directly into DAW (Reason, specifically), usually starting with a basic piano part. Though there are times when exhaustive notation is necessary, for most of my work I only notate parts sent to contractors (using MuseScore). I keep a highly detail-oriented approach in my composition and arrangement, spending hours on short passages, to ensure that each musical moment is seamlessly woven into the tapestry of the piece. I am a competent mixer, though I outsource for larger projects.
Collaboration
I am an effective collaborator, and have contracted over a dozen musicians, engineers, and other professionals to achieve a polished, refined product. I ensure my collaborators are provided with the tools necessary for their craft by providing numerous materials and keeping an organized file system.
Projects
I have put out a substantial body of work through the Celestial City Symphony Orchestra brand. I have also prepared numerous instrumental demos to refine my skills and demonstrate sound palates for game and film scores.
